I’ve known her since the third grade.
I’ve loved her since our teen years.
But her heart belonged to my best friend.
Juliet Oliver was adopted at birth and has always struggled with this fact. She’s been emotionally detached from everyone in her entire life, except for one person. He’s been the one source of support, love and encouragement.
Seth Tyson has had his share of painful relationships. He’s constantly battling with his own demons, led by issues at home.
I lost her.
I thought she was the love of my life.
She was everything I needed. Everything I wanted.
She made me forget about my past. My family.
She made me feel real.
How do I move on from her?
Will I find someone like her?
It’s time to pick up the pieces.
But can I?
I’m Seth Tyson and this is my story.
I deserve a happily ever after, don’t I?
This is Seth’s story and his quest to find his happily ever after
Krystle’s 5 Star Review
Dear Juliet by Trudy Stiles was an extremely emotional read from start to finish. If you have read either or Trudy’s other books you know that she has a knack for pulling on your heart strings and making you hurt for her characters with such intensity. Dear Juliet was no exception and I truly believe that this is Trudy’s best work to date.
Dear Juliet takes you on a journey spanning over many years. The story follows three best friends from the time they are young children and then brings the reader up to date to present time. Following them through so many different stages in their life had me truly invested in the characters and how their stories would turn out and although my heart was stomped on a time or two I can honestly say this story is a journey worth embarking on. Although we only get short glimpses into certain years of their lives I think Trudy did a fantastic job balancing so many different time periods and filling in the reader just enough.
I would like to note that although I think you could get away with saying this book is a stand alone I don’t think that it would have the same effects on you if you haven’t read the first two books yet. One of my favorite things about Trudy’s books is her ability to tie her stories together in ways I never saw coming. I love when books have “OMG” or “WOW” moments and Trudy definitely delivers in that area. I’m still in shock over what we discover in Dear Juliet and I can’t wait for more people to read the book so we can all discuss!
Dear Juliet was definitely a 5 Star read for me. The other two books were 4 and 5 Star reads so as a whole I would DEFINITELY recommend this series to everyone! I am truly going to miss the Forever Family series but I also can’t wait to see what Trudy has in store for us next.
Thank you for sharing your heart and soul with us Trudy<3
